2023 FISU Winter World University Games Team Canada Men’s Hockey Schedule
The 2023 Federation Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU) Winter World University Games is underway, and two UPEI Panthers, TJ Shea and Matt Brassard, are among 22 student-athletes representing Team Canada. UPEI forward Kyle Maksimovich was also selected to play but could not attend due to a recent injury.
The 31st edition of the FISU Games runs from January 11–22, with the men’s hockey event taking place from January 12–22. The preliminary round for men’s hockey is being played in Canton, NY, with the medal round taking place in Lake Placid’s historic Olympic Center 1980 Rink.
Team Canada opens its tournament on Thursday, January 12 at 2:00 pm AST, against Ukraine. The games can be watched free of charge on FISU.tv

The semi-finals and finals will also be aired on TSN on January 21 and 22.
