UPEI Panthers this Week (October 31–November 6)

Here is a look at the UPEI Panthers schedule for the week of October 31–November 6.

Wednesday, November 2:

9:00 pm (AST)/5:00 pm (PST): The UPEI Women’s Rugby Panthers will play the Ottawa Gee-Gees in the U SPORTS quarter-final at the University of Victoria, British Columbia. If they win this game, the Panthers will play for a national medal. The game will be available to watch on CBC Gem. 

Friday, November 4:

7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers (5-3-0) host the UNB Reds (5-2-0) at MacLauchlan Arena. Both teams are riding four-game win streaks. The last time the two teams met, the Reds won 5-2. 

Saturday, November 5:

7:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers (5-3-0) host the UNB Reds (7-0-1) at MacLauchlan Arena. This will be the first meeting between the two teams. Minor hockey players are invited to attend and to wear their jerseys.

6:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers (2-0) play the Acadia Axewomen (2-0) in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. 

7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers vs. Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus in Moncton, New Brunswick. Moncton won the first game 4-2.

8:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball (2-0) vs. the Acadia Axemen (0-2) in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The two teams face each other for the first time this season.

Sunday, November 6:

3:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers vs. the Dalhousie Tigers at home in the MacLauchlan Arena. The Panthers defeated the Tigers 4-3 in overtime the last time they met. Minor hockey players are invited to attend and to wear their jerseys.

2:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers vs. the Acadia Axewomen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia

4:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers vs. the Acadia Axemen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia
