Sixteen students from AVC attended the 2019 Boehringer-Ingelheim National Veterinary Scholars Symposium hosted by the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University from July 24–29. The students were participants in the College’s Summer Research and Leadership Program, which introduces students to careers in veterinary research. During the program, they work with faculty members on research projects and attend a series of research seminars and workshops.

At the symposium, the students presented posters on their research projects, which covered a variety of wild and domestic species, including fish, foxes, dogs, rats, and horses. Congratulations to them for their excellent work!
