MBA in Global Leadership students discuss leadership with retired US Army General
George Casey Jr., a retired four-star general and former chief of staff for the U.S. Army, recently presented to students in UPEI’s MBA in Global Leadership program. General Casey discussed leadership in an era of volatility, complexity, and uncertainty, and pointed to his experience as commanding general of the world’s largest and most complex organization, the 1.6 million-member U.S. Army.
General Casey’s presentation was a part of the Business 7550 course, taught by Alan Hilburg of Hilburg Associates. The course focuses on the leadership skills necessary to manage innovation and the role trust and values play in creating an inclusive culture in different regions of the world and different organizational leadership and structural contexts.
