CBC Dragons' Den star headlines UPEI student entrepreneurial event
David Chilton, best-selling author of 'The Wealthy Barber' and 'The Wealthy Barber Returns' and Dragon on CBC's Dragons' Den is coming to Charlottetown on October 28. Chilton will headline Enactus (Entrepreneurial Action Us) UPEI's event on entrepreneurship and innovation which will be held at the Confederation Centre of the Arts on Monday, October 28 at 7:00 pm.
Chilton's 75-minute keynote address will provide attendees with valuable information on his experiences as well as advice on entrepreneurship and financial planning. Five hundred free copies of 'The Wealthy Barber Returns' books will also be distributed to lucky attendees. The UPEI student-led event will kick off with a PEI Small Business Panel Discussion featuring four local entrepreneurs-Jeff Squires of PEI Brewing Company and Cavendish Beach Music Festival; Gillian McCrae of GetGifted; Joelle MacPhee of Ooka Island; and Matthew Jelley of Maritime Fun Group.
Tickets are now available at the Confederation Centre of the Arts Box Office and online at confederationcentre.com. General admission is $48, while student admission is $33. Prices are subject to sales tax and a capital improvement theatre fee of $2. University and college students require student ID cards to obtain the reduced student rate.
