The Dean of Arts and the Department of Psychology are teaming up to host a public, community presentation about "The Ride Across Canada," on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm in the AVC Lecture Theatre A. The "Ride", a Communities for Veterans Foundation initiative, brings communities together by introducing the faces and stories of over 700 veterans from Victoria to St. John’s with a horseback ride across Canada. Please join us on Tuesday and give a warm Island welcome to this organization during their PEI leg of their cross-country journey, and as they build awareness about instances of PTSD and mental illness among our veterans. Ride participants will educate us about the Foundation and the work they are committed to doing. The public presentation will be followed by a reception in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building. All are welcome!
