The First Annual Blessed John Henry Newman Dinner will be held at the University of Prince Edward Island on Friday October 2, 2015.  Professor Peter Erb, the university’s founding SDU Visiting Scholar of Catholic Studies, will speak at this charity event on “Newman’s University and Ours: the World of the Past and the World to Come.” Reception is at 6:00 pm followed by a formal dinner at 7:00 pm in UPEI’s McDougall Hall. Tickets are $80 per person or a table of 10 is $750. Proceeds support special collaborations between UPEI’s Canadian Catholic Students’ Association and the Catholic Studies programme with charitable donation receipts offered for a portion of the ticket price.
