Candidate presentation for tenure-track position: Engineering

During May 5-8, a number of candidates for tenure-track positions in the School of Sustainable Design Engineering will be visiting campus. The School encourages members of the campus community to attend the public presentations as per the following schedule: Dr. Kristin Domike – Thurs, May 7, 2:45-3:45 pm, McDougall Hall Room 246 Cases in Design Engineering Dr. Kristin Domike has an established track record of excellence in the area of design engineering. This excellence includes academic accomplishments, practical implementation, and interactive teaching/mentoring. Dr. Domike has previously taught at UPEI and for two years at a university in Ohio. Dr. Domike completed her PhD in Physics at the University of Cambridge (Cavendish Laboratories) with research focused on protein aggregation (relevant to brain diseases and food manufacturing). She completed undergraduate and master’s degrees in Material Science & Engineering at MIT, working on designs and materials for use in medical tubing devices including commercialization. Dr. Domike has five peer-reviewed articles of significance and presented at many conferences.
