President Wade MacLauchlan will complete 12 years of service as president of UPEI at the end of June. To celebrate our University's accomplishments under his outstanding leadership, a special event is taking place on June 10, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The “Raised Expectations” Fundraising Dinner and Celebration will be a wonderful opportunity for our faculty, staff, students, friends and families to share more than a decade of UPEI memories. The evening will include a reception and buffet dinner, a fundraising auction, "raise the roof" entertainment by Island musicians, and a dance. Proceeds from the evening will support the creation of the H. Wade MacLauchlan Raised Expectations Awards. They will be presented to selected PEI students entering UPEI who have shown the greatest academic improvement in their high school years.
