"All-taxa Biodiversity Inventories (ATBI): accounting for all species occurring in a designated area" Date: Tuesday, March 26 Location: The McCain Foundation Learning Commons, AVC (287 North) Time: 10:00 am Dr. Malloch received his BA & MA in biology from San Francisco State University and his PhD from the University of Toronto (taxonomy of cleistothecial ascomycetes). He was Professor at the University of Toronto from 1975-2003. After retirement in 2003, he moved to Little Lepreau, New Brunswick and took a position as Research Associate at the New Brunswick Museum, Saint John. He is also an Emeritus Professor at the University of Toronto and Honorary Research Associate at UNB, serving on two graduate student supervisory committees involving mercury uptake in mycorrhizal fungi and white-nose syndrome in hibernating bats.
