Candidate Seminar for Anesthesia Tenure-Track Faculty Position

The Department of Companion Animals at the Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI, will be interviewing candidates to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Anesthesia. Each candidate has been asked to present two (2) thirty-minute seminars; one that should be geared towards 3rd year DVM students and one a presentation of their research interests.

Our third candidate will be on-campus Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

May 21st & 22nd, 2019
Dr. Patrick Burns received his BVSc from the University of Queensland (1992) and in 2005 he completed a residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Burns is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (2006). Dr. Burns is currently Head of Equine Anesthesia, and Project Manager at Langford Veterinary Services at the University of Bristol.
