Phishing is a cyber attack that uses disguised email as a weapon. The phishers goal is to trick you into believing the email you just received is from someone you know - for instance a colleague or boss, maybe even your bank, asking you to click on a link or send some information. There are lots of ways to protect yourself from phishing attacks and ITSS have put together a guide here.
