The Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) has launched its phase 2 research call by sharing plans to invest approximately $16 million in research that will examine climate change and the impacts our changing ocean has on coastal communities. Full details are available on OFI’s web site.Phase 2 was designed through a collaborative effort — through a series of meetings with researchers and other ocean experts we created the call, building on our learnings from the first phase of OFI’s large research projects and assessing the research requirements to advance the sustainable development of the North Atlantic.  An information session will take place on Thursday, March 7 at 10:00 am in AVC room 343N (the boardroom) .
