Island Studies January Lecture: The story of Mary Prince, a West Indian slave

The Island Lecture Series January lecture is Tuesday, January 15, at 7:00 pm in the SDU Main Building Faculty Lounge on the UPEI campus, and will feature Dr. Margôt Maddison-MacFadyen speaking on the topic, “To be free is very sweet”: The story of Mary Prince, a West Indian slave.

Admission to the lecture is free and everyone is welcome to attend. The next lecture is scheduled for February 19, 2019. Mark your calendars!
