The UPEI Faculty of Arts and its interdisciplinary Asian Studies Program are pleased to announce the following International Conference on Asian Studies:
Good and Evil in Korean Philosophy, Religion, and Spirituality: Korean Ideas and Their Global Implications

Featuring five panels on several interesting and engaging themes with 16 prominent or promising scholars from USA, Canada, Korea, and Japan. 
Opening keynote speech, “Evil and Theodicy in the Buddhist Tradition,” by Dr. Robert E. Buswell Jr., Irving and Jean Stone Endowed Chair in Humanities at UCLA, Distinguished Professor of Buddhist Studies, and Founding Director of the Center for Buddhist Studies and the Center for Korean Studies, UCLA
