Projects this year include innovations in renewable energy, climate adaptation, agriculture, aquaculture, drug discovery, health and well-being. More than $15,000 in prizes and awards will be handed out by 45 community partner organizations that annually support the PEI Science Fair. Five students from grades 7-12 will be selected to represent PEI at the 2018 Canada Wide Science Fair in Ottawa in May where more than $1 million in prizes and scholarships will be awarded.

The Science Fair program in PEI, at the local school and provincial levels, is a strong community partnership with hundreds of volunteers who give of their time and energy to support learning and learners.

The public is invited to come by and speak with these remarkable students from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.  The Awards Ceremony is 4:00-4:45 pm. Please join us in celebrating the tremendous efforts of Island youth.
