ITSS Project Update: Migration from Novell to Microsoft

Over the past few weeks, ITSS has been migrating UPEI's file systems from Novell to Microsoft Active Directory. The final phase of the project involves migrating departmental printers and is expected to be completed over the next two weeks. Details and specific timelines for each individual department will be sent to department heads as far in advance as possible.

In most cases, computers will continue to print to the same printer; however, in some isolated instances, a visit from an ITSS team member may be required to complete the migration process. Should employees encounter printing issues following the migration, please contact the ITSS Helpdesk.
