Promoting Girls in Research in Engineering and Sustainability (ProGRES)

Posting Date(s)

Promoting Girls in Research in Engineering and Sustainability (ProGRES): You are invited to attend the final presentations for ProGRES at the School of Sustainable Design Engineering on Thursday, August 17, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, in Design Studio 202.

This summer, the School of Sustainable Design Engineering launched its first ProGRES Summer Program to promote engineering research and interest among young women in high school. Through ProGRES, high school girls in Grades 11 and 12 had the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research projects independently with women faculty researchers and women student mentors, and the ProGRES students also met many women engineers in various industrial sectors in our province.

The invitation can be found on the ProGRES students' blog by clicking here.  All are welcome to attend!
