Promoting Girls in Research on Engineering and Sustainability Program
The School of Sustainable Design Engineering at UPEI is launching its first ProGRES Summer Program to promote engineering research interest and involvement among high school girls. Through the ProGRES Program, high-school girls will have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research projects with world-class researchers in state-of-the-art facilities. The selected students will work directly with a woman faculty researcher and mentor on an independent research project, and they will have opportunities to meet and work with women engineers and women engineering students.
High school girls going into grades 11 and 12 are encouraged to apply for the ProGRES Summer Program. Please refer to our application instructions for complete program information and application.
Application deadline is 5:00 pm on June 7, 2017!
