UPEI and Student Affairs are offering Mental Health First Aid training to all students, faculty and staff. All fees and related costs are paid for by UPEI.

The MHFA Canada program aims to improve mental health literacy, and provide the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend or colleague.

The upcoming session will be held on Wednesday, December 14 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm and Thursday, December 15 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm (one hour for lunch each day, lunch is
not provided). Snacks and refreshments will be served. Attendance on both days is mandatory for completion of the training.
