Join us on October 12 at 7 pm in the UPEI Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, for the first History of Medicine Society event for the fall, as Master of Arts (Island Studies) student Sara Underwood presents some of her research on the more than 200 children who were settled in Prince Edward Island between 1893 and the early 1920s, as part of the child emigration movement by Middlemore Home in Birmingham, England. She will present information from reports and correspondence related specifically to the children’s health.
