The Senate Committee on the Enhancement of Teaching (SCENT), the Faculty Development Office (FDO), and the UPEI Faculty Association (UPEIFA) invite all members of the campus community to participate in a workshop facilitated by Dr. Len Findlay of the University of Saskatchewan from 1:00-3:00 on Wednesday, April 27th. The workshop, which will explore issues of academic freedom, pedagogy, and curriculum around three broad themes, will follow Dr. Findlay's morning talk (11:00, MCDH 243). The workshop (in MCDH 329) will be preceded by lunch at 12:30; both lunch and the workshop, like the lecture, are free of charge. So that we can order sufficient food and plan for the workshop, we ask that you register with Gerald at fdo@upei.ca by Wednesday, April 20.
