ITSS is migrating from Novell Directory Services (NDS) to Microsoft Active Directory Services (AD). This project will be completed by August 26, 2016. This means that your network login to connect to network resources such as departmental printing and shared drives will be changing. In order to do this, ITSS will need to visit your location and modify software and configurations on your computer. We will need you to be available at this time to enter passwords to complete this process. We are estimating this process will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete on each computer. ITSS is currently drafting a plan to schedule these desk visits and will be communicating with departmental staff to coordinate the date and time for each department migration. As of September 1, anyone wishing to use networked resources will need to have been migrated to the new login. ITSS asks that you please make every effort to be available when your department is scheduled to be migrated so that there isn’t a large number of people needing to be migrated in early September exceeding our capacity to meet those needs.
