New Spending Authority Policy and Joint Information Session

Please note that the Board of Governors has approved a new Spending Authority Policy. This policy, along with related procedure document, can be found on the UPEI Board of Governors Policy and Procedures website: http://www.upei.ca/policy/
A joint information session on the Spending Authority Policy and Contract Process will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at AVC Lecture Theatre B.
Matt Adams, Accounting Manager, will review the new Spending Authority Policy and answer questions about procedural guidelines.
Lauren Keefe, Risk Management Officer, will discuss the fee-for-service contract process and introduce revised fee-for-service contract templates. Contract information and templates are available on the Comptroller’s website: http://www.upei.ca/finance/comptroller/contracts
Rory Beck, Research Contracts Officer, will be present to answer any research contract specific questions and Roger Cook, Procurement Services Manager, will be present to answer Procurement related questions.
