Spin n’ Strength
A high intensity interval training spin class mixed with strength training. The cycling will focus on specific work efforts alternated with recovery periods.
Dates: November 24– December 29 Tuesdays 6:30 am – 7:15 am
Beginner/Intermediate Spin
By combining a variety of challenging rides, from sprints, intervals, hills and more, this great cardiovascular workout also strengthens and tones your leg muscles. You can work at your own pace since you control the tension/resistance on your bike.
Dates: December 2- 18, Wednesdays & Fridays 12:05 pm – 12:50 pm
Advanced Spin
What better way to build strength than to climb? Get ready to ride steadily and consistently with heavy resistance. Strength rides increase muscular and cardiovascular strength enabling you to be a powerful climber. The class will also challenge your aerobic capacity through interval sprints and maximum speed.
Dates: November 26 – December 31 Thursdays 6:30 am – 7:15 am
Registration for Specialty Fitness Classes is required. Please register at Panther Central, UPEI Sports Centre. Space is limited. Payment required to secure spot.
6-week programs – FEE: Sports Centre Members & UPEI full-time students $51 + hst per program, non-members $60 + hst per program
NOTE: Drop-ins welcome if space is available - $12 + hst
