Candidate seminar, Department of Companion Animals

The Department of Companion Animals will be interviewing three (3) candidates for the open, tenure-track faculty position in anesthesia. The third candidate, Dr. Cate Creighton, will be on campus Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9.
Dr. Creighton received her DVM in 1995 and completed a combined residency & Master of Science program in 2011; both from the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of PEI. She has worked in private practice and from 2011 to 2013 was a lecturer in Anaesthesia & Analgesia at the Companion Animal Health Centre, School of Animal & Veterinary Sciences, University of Adelaide, Australia.
Dr. Creighton is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia and has been working at the AVC in a contract position since July, 2013.
As part of the interview process, each candidate has been asked to present a 50-minute lecture suitable for 3rd year DVM students. Any interested faculty / staff / students are invited to attend. A copy of Dr. Creighton’s CV and letter of application will be available from Laurel Fisher (fisher@upei.ca) in the Department of Companion Animals.
