The University Senate meets regularly in AVC 286A/287. Recently, a chair (stool) was purchased specifically for use by an employee who takes the meeting minutes in order to alleviate back pain. It was delivered to the meeting room just prior to the March 13 meeting of Senate, but by the April 10 meeting, it had been removed. The chair is stool height, swivels, and has a back and metal base on which a message is engraved, "For Senate Use. Please do not remove from this room." Anyone who might be aware of the chair's whereabouts is asked to contact Security Services at 0384 or return it to its proper place.
