On Monday, November 3, 2:00-4:00 pm, a safety inspection workshop (location TBD) will be held to learn more about workplace inspection processes. It is open to everyone, free of charge! The session will educate attendees on how to prepare, inspect, report, and follow-up on workplace hazards. The workshop, led by Lori Wakelin, Education Consultant with the Occupational Health and Safety Division of the PEI Workers Compensation Board, uses group and individual activities involving common hazard scenarios and sample forms to guide you along in your next workplace safety inspection. During the last 15 minutes of the session, Denise Bustard will review the University's internal inspection procedures and forms. A short nutrition break will be provided.
