The UPEI Student Union and the UPEI Convocation Committee are looking for a valedictorian for the 2014 morning convocation ceremony. Eligible students are those from the faculties of business, nursing, education, and veterinary medicine. Interested applicants are asked to forward their name, faculty of study, and a summary explaining their interest in being this year’s valedictorian. Summaries are to be no more than 250 words and word count is to be displayed. Deadline for applications is 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 2, and students are asked to submit applications to admin@upeisu.ca. Faculty and staff are encouraged to speak to students and inform them of the availability of this position and encourage interested students to apply.
