There is a convenient, new way to purchase your parking permit at UPEI. Full-time and permanent part-time faculty and staff now have the opportunity to purchase non-expiring parking permits for gated designated parking lots B and C. While individuals who park in these lots must pay through payroll deductions, doing so eliminates the need to reapply each year. For general parking lots or AVC designated lot B, permits will continue to expire on August 31, requiring permit holders to reapply each year, as they do currently. UPEI parking is an ancillary service with a budget that is based entirely on cost recovery—no funding comes from the operating budget.
