Everyone is welcome to a talk about Creating Sustainable Landscapes & Communities through Permaculture Design by Gregorio Ajcot Sosof of the Mesoamerican Permaculture Institute in Guatemala “Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human environments. It’s the harmonious integration of landscape and people.” - Bill Mollison Thursday, March 21 Noon to 1 pm Free refreshments Main Building Faculty Lounge (205) Gregorio Ajcot Sosof has been a permaculture practitioner for 16 years, working with the Mesoamerican Permaculture Institute in Solola Guatemala, since 2010. Goyo manages all on-site permaculture systems, including many gardens, a food forest, grey water recycling and composting systems, as well as running the on-site native seed bank. Goyo is an adult educator and offers educational tours and workshops about permaculture and how it relates to and complements the Maya cosmovision.
