Bullying - Wear Pink - February 27
Posting Date(s)
Bullying is a form of harassment, but personal and more intense. It has
always been a part of our culture and it doesn’t just happen on the school
playground.
In the workplace, bullying is more likely to occur where
there is an authoritarian style of management, during times of
restructuring and when there are excessive demands placed on individuals.
It is a serious affliction that undermines productivity and morale. The worst
examples occur in private.
The UPEI Healthy Campus Committee, in conjunction with the Fair Treatment
Office, invites all faculty, staff, and students to get involved in the
annual Anti-Bullying Day by wearing pink on Wednesday, February 27.
One person can change many.
