Skating rink now open!
Posting Date(s)
We are excited to announce that the UPEI Outdoor Rink is now ready and open for skating! The rink is located between the W.A. Murphy Student Centre and Kelley Memorial Building, and is open from 7:30 am-9:00 pm daily with ice quality subject to ice conditions. Don't have skates? Skates are available to borrow from the Panther Central Desk in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Please note: The Sports Centre is still accepting donations of skates and helmets.
We welcome all staff, students, faculty, community members, and of course your families to come out for a skate. We ask that you review and abide by the guidelines below, these are also posted at the rink. A big thanks to the UPEI Outdoor Rink Committee made up of representatives from UPEI Student Union, Administration and Finance, Facilities, Integrated Communications, and Athletics and Recreation who worked together to make this possible.
Stay tuned in the coming week for details on an upcoming campus event at the rink.
