| Background: | The Jean (MacLeod) Paquette Scholarship is established by her family as a tribute to Jean who attended PWC in the 1930's. Born in Hartsville, PEI, Jean lived all of her life in PEI and was a working mother for most of those years. She was employed for many years with Holman's Department Store in Summerside and later with Hyndman Insurance also in Summerside. She died on July 6, 2001 at the age of 86. |
