Ceremonies and Events
The mission of the Office of Ceremonies and Events is to serve the University community by defining and setting standards in the planning, organizing, and delivering of events across the University campus to align with the University’s vision, mission, and strategic plan.
It is the responsibility of the Office of Ceremonies and Events to approve events. Various financial, insurance, liability, public safety, and other risk management issues for the University may need to be reviewed. As per the Policy, all University Community Members must consult with the Office and have the event approved before continuing the planning process of any event, except for Conference Services and Athletics and Recreation, as per the procedures.
