A historic event took place at UPEI recently when members of the University’s new Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) gathered to get to know each other and talk about teaching their first courses this fall.

As a boy, Logan Kelly-Murphy loved taking in a UPEI Men's Hockey game with his family and revelled in the joy of watching his hometown heroes compete on the ice. Several years later, Kelly-Murphy will now get an opportunity to suit up as a Panther. 

A group of dedicated volunteers, led by UPEI Chancellor Catherine Callbeck and businessman and philanthropist John Bragg, has raised over $3 million to fund the Alexander Bradshaw Campbell Entrance Scholarships for PEI high school graduates entering their first year at UPEI.

The University of Prince Edward Island held its first-ever Convocation ceremony on August 14 at its campus in New Cairo, Egypt, with forty-five students in the faculties of Business, Engineering, and Science receiving degrees.
