It was a morning of mixed emotions at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), as the AVC’s Wildlife Service prepared to bring bald eagle 450, otherwise known as “Buddy,” to his new home at Hope for Wildlife.  

Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year’s Levee held by the University of Prince Edward Island and the UPEI Alumni Association on Sunday, January 1, 2023. 

The UPEI Panthers play hockey and basketball at home and away during the week of January 2–8, 2023.

The University of Prince Edward Island and the UPEI Alumni Association are hosting their annual New Year's Levee, and all are welcome to attend.

Dr. Christopher Power, an associate professor in the UPEI School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, has recently written an article about the newest entry to the God of War series of games. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is pleased to report that they have cleared nine reindeer for their Christmas Eve flight.

Allegra Netten, a fourth-year student in the UPEI doctor of psychology program, recently received a prestigious award for her poster presentation of her doctoral dissertation entitled The Development and Validation of a Scale to Measure Climate Change Anxiety at the annual meeting of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) in New York City.

In this labour relations update, which was also emailed to faculty and staff, the University shared information about the status of negotiations with the UPEI Faculty Association.

The University of Prince Edward Island held its 21st Recognition of Founders ceremony on Monday, December 19, 2022, in The McCain Foundation Learning Commons, Atlantic Veterinary College, to acknowledge those who have contributed to the University in a significant way.
