Dr. Hilding Neilson, Memorial University, will give a lecture titled “Space is Part of the Land: Moving from Colonialism and Space Exploitation to Indigenous Models of Operating in Space,” on April 2, at 4:00 pm, in Kelley Memorial Building 237, UPEI.

UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) students competed at the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) 2025 held at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 16. The students achieved notable success at the national competition with their first-ever awards in two categories.

Entrepreneur Daniel Ohaegbu arrived on Prince Edward Island in 2014 as an international student from Nigeria. He graduated from UPEI in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree and again in 2019 with a BSc with Honours in Psychology. His journey of discovery laid the foundation for his work in the not-for-profit sector and ultimately inspired him to create the social enterprise, WorkSource Alliance.
