For generations, families have been attending the University of Prince Edward Island and its predecessor institutions Prince of Wales College (PWC) and St. Dunstan’s University (SDU). The UPEI Alumni Association understands the impact that education has created for these families. They would like to hear firsthand about the legacy that UPEI plays in the lives of our current students. The UPEI Alumni Association Legacy Award will be granted to a student entering their first year at UPEI (not necessarily their first year in university studies). AVC students and Graduate students are also eligible to apply if they are entering UPEI for the first time. Students interested in applying are asked to write a short essay about the impact that UPEI (or SDU/PWC) has had on their family.
