UPEI is proud to be a gold sponsor and major venue of the 36th edition of the finals for "les Jeux de l'Acadie", June 26-30. The Acadian Games is a multi-sport and cultural event that celebrates Acadian and francophone culture and includes participants from around the Atlantic provinces aged 11-16 years old. Events taking place on the UPEI campus are: Athletics at UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place; Improvisation at the Duffy Science Centre; Mini hand-ball at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre; Battle of the Bands at the W.A.
