In partnership with The University of Burgos, UPEI offered students an amazing opportunity to spend a few weeks in Spain attending classes taught by the University of Burgos faculty. During this, the faculty followed up the in class lectures with real life examples. For instance, the Cathedral in Burgos is a major stop along the Camino de Santiago; students were taught about the historical, religious and architectural aspects of the Cathedral and then the students were led to the location and provided with a tour to help turn the in class lecture to reality.
This is only one example of the international experiential learning aspect of this program.
