There has been an unprecedented amount of change over the last few months, not only in the way we live but also in how we work. Now more than ever, it is important to prioritize our health and well-being. With that in mind, the UPEI Healthy Campus Committee is pleased to announce that UPEI staff and faculty will once again participate in the 100-Day Global Health Challenge from May 27–September 4, 2020.

“Daily physical activity is very important to our physical and mental health,” said Jackie Podger, Vice-President, Administration and Finance. “This challenge will help to motivate us to focus on our overall health and well-being.”

The Global Challenge is a fun way to become a healthier and happier. Although we are practicing social distancing and many of us are working from home, we can still be active and healthy. During the challenge, you will

  • unite with a team of seven colleagues and nominate a team captain
  • inspire your team to climb the leaderboard
  • discover handy tools and tips to improve your health and well-being, including nutrition, sleep, focus, and exercise

Additional Information

The challenge is for UPEI faculty and staff only. There is no cost to register. All individuals and teams must be registered by Thursday,  May 7, at 11:00 pm. This deadline is firm.

To register, log on to myUPEI and complete the 100-Day Global Challenge registration form found under “UPEI Forms”. As part of the registration process, participants will need to complete a waiver and consent form.

If you do not have a team or enough participants for a team, complete the form, and we will find you a team.
