| Description: | Awarded graduates from a PEI high school who demonstrate potential to contribute to the long term development of the province; in keeping with Wyatt's belief in the value of the arts, recipients must demonstrate an aptitude or interet in the cultural or artistic dimension of life. Renewable with 75% in first year and 80% in second and third year while taking full course load (30semester hours Sept-April). |
| Background: | Wanda Wyatt was a longstanding benefactor of UPEI. She believed in the University's strengths; and these scholarships, funded by the Wanda Wyatt Foundation, honour her legacy. The Wanda Wyatt Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate the potential to contribute to the long-term development of the Province. In keeping with Wyatt's belief in the value of the arts, recipients must demonstrate an aptitude for or interest in the cultural or artistic dimension of life. |
