The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a Sessional Instructor to teach 6805 Political Systems and Economic Policies in the Masters of Global Affairs program (a joint degree between UPEI and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos based in Madrid) during Fall 2019. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Political Systems and Economic Policies (Course number 6805)

This course examines the relationship and interplay between globalization and national interests, as reflected in national economic policies. Topics include theories of international political economy in relation to foreign aid and international development and international trade, as well as the roles played by international organizations and non-state actors, such as NGOs that focus on foreign aid and development.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster of the academic unit.
