Religious Studies 3880: "Catholic New York"
“Catholic New York,” is an exciting experiential learning opportunity for ten UPEI students, running in the Fall semester of 2024. The course has two components: on campus classes exploring the history, beliefs and traditions of Catholicism in New York; and, a trip to New York City during the midterm break (October 11–18, 2024).
The cost of the trip, including travel and accommodation, is generously funded by the Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors. Students are responsible for the cost of food, tuition, and books.
To be eligible, applicants must be full time students at UPEI, have taken a minimum of two Catholic Studies classes prior to Fall 2024, and have a record of academic excellence.
Interested students will submit the International Experience Form. Please provide a "letter of interest" explaining why you would like to be part of this course whether the International Experience form requests the "essay". In your "letter of interest", please include two named academic references. You may upload empty documents where the two reference letters are required.
